History Made at The Millrose Games

As I told everyone at practice the other day, I was in New York yesterday to watch the historical Millrose Games at Madison Square Garden. Here is a video of the Wanamaker Mile. Unbelievable race, check it out. I will try to find other videos of some of the highlights. The high school girl's mile was very impressive. The winning time was 4:52. The men's shot put was also extremely impressive. The winner threw 72 feet and change and has the farthest throw in the world this year. I'm definitely glad I went since there is a lot of speculation that this year's Millrose Games might be the last time the event is run.
