Monday- Premeet day for everyone running Housatonic Championships. Everyone running Novice Meet- Relay 200m workout. Each person will team up with someone with comparable ability. You will run a 200m tag your teammate and your recovery is the time it takes for your partner to run. Each person will do 8.
Tuesday- SCC Housatonic Championships. Those running Novice Meet will have an “On your own day.” Easy running anywhere from 2-5 miles. 4x75m strides.
Wednesday- All jumpers/Hurdlers will work with Coach Gunneson. Sprinters- 10xIns and Outs. Hard on straights (full hallways) easy on turns. Distance- Mix of easy tempo and some hills on Cornwall followed by extended strides.
Thursday- Premeet for those running on Friday 4x200m Relay and 4x800m Relay. Easy running for everyone else. 2-5 miles followed by 4x50m strides
Friday – Yale Track Classic. Sprints not running Yale-Friday Tradition workout. Distance not running Yale- Long run 5-8 miles.
Saturday- Yale Track Classic- Everyone who did not run Friday at Yale, easy run 2-5 miles. Sprinters who ran Friday- 2-5 miles followed by 4x100m accelerators. Distance who ran Friday- Long run 5-8 miles.
Sunday- Everyone Off
